Celebrating purim with the moms!!

It was so wonderful having the moms and dads come and celebrate pre purim in our class. The singing, dancing, crafts and just hanging out was enjoyed by all! We look forward to many more shared moments over the course of the year.

Solly and the beanstalk

In honour of Tu B shvat, Solly helped us nurture our plants and grow them! Watering the plants is a great hand eye coordination activity as well as excellent fine motor and balance activity. The childre were very responsible and even wiped off their spills!!

Morah Chana Rivka's class feeds the birds

In honour of Parshas Beshalach we made bird feeders.

Some children enjoyed the process of making the feeders:

Ella: We dipping those into those and then we going to dip it in the seeds.

For others this experience sparked a new interest in birds.

Avi immediatly ran out with his pine cone (before it had peanut butter and seeds) and put it out for the birds to eat: "I'm feeding the birds!"

Zalman enjoyed watching the birds form the window!

While for others it was a yummy taste test!
